I adore the classic chintz collection, Bowood, from Colefax and Fowler.
The iconic floral design is based on a document originally discovered by John Fowler when he visited Bowood House in the 1950’s.

Esteemed interior designers incorporate this much loved collection of fabrics and wallpaper to this day, the design timeless and has stood the test of time – it is a relevant today as it was when it was first introduced.
It is such a versatile design and looks beautiful in so many different kinds of rooms – from bedrooms to home offices, formal sittng rooms to guest powder rooms! It looks as beautiful used on cushions as it does on walls, window treatments and upolstery – you can choose to use as much, or as little of this design as you like and it still makes an impact.
For me, it is a design that you can live with and I believe this is because the design is placed on a neutral coloured background, for me this is something which really appeals to me.
As part of their Summer 2020 Collections, Colefax and Fowler have given Bowood a fresh modern twist introducing fresh colourways to their collection. The collection will be available from mid July.
This in my opinion makes the collection even more desirable. I have my eye on the new blue / grey colourway which I think would look beautiful in my bedroom!
