They seem to go hand in hand with hand painted flower wallpaper which I so much covet. But introducing blue and white decorative objects into the home is much more accessible and they really work against a neutral background.
The sky is the limit when it comes to blue and white decorative objects, having been a trend for centuries there are many priceless antiques available. But there are also a great variety of more accessible pieces too.
Planters, vases, plates, ginger jars there are so many items to choose from so where do you start and where can you shop them?
You can explore the pre-loved market and I do recommend eBay as a great place to start if you do like to take the time to have a browse and see what you can find. Perhaps you can pick up a few purse friendly pieces to start your collection and see if you really love and that the style suits your home?
Do visit OKA they really do have a brilliant selection of ginger jars, table lamps and the most stunning side table / barrel seat which is firmly on my wishlist.
I also love visiting Sophie Conran another source of beautiful decorative objects.
Across the pond from the USA do visit The Enchanted Home.
If you would like to really push the boat out and invest in an antique piece then look no further than Robert Kime.
I hope I have inspired you in and that you have a wonderful day.
