In the spirit of the season to be merry and bright I am thrilled to spread some cheer and delight.  Meet Jessica Baumann, a lady who is chic and timeless.

“Fashion enthusiast, oyster plate collector, new mum.  Sharing all of the beautiful things I find along the way.”

Jessica Baumann

In this At Home With Style Series feature it is an honour to have interviewed Jessica, enjoy!

Describe your personal design style in 3 words?

Feminine, textured and whimsical.

Favourite room in your home?

Eloise’s nursery. Beyond loving the pink and green colour palette, it’s filled with very intentional and special elements.

My favourite thing are the curtains; the fabric was used on the head table at our wedding, it is Schumacher Chinois Palais in blush and it’ll always remind me of that special day.

The cutest capture, Jessica creatively weaves memories of her wedding day in her daughter’s nursery through the use of this Schumacher Chinois Palais fabric.

What inspires you?

Honestly so much. Specifically the past – I love antiques, the opulence of everyday things is something that lacks in modern day, everything is too practical.

Picture perfect – nothing says love more than a selection of curated pictures in mix matched photo frames

Your greatest home extravagance?

Probably my husband’s wooden duck decoy collection, something I make light of on my Instagram, but they’re very expensive and he loves them. There are a lot of ducks in my house I don’t share, haha!

But, for me personally, my greatest extravagance are my new dining chairs. They are Louis XVI Hot Air Balloon back chairs, they were a lucky find, rare and very extravagant.

What a marvellous find – Jessica’s Louis XVI Hot Air Balloon back dining room chairs

What is on your wish list?

Always a new oyster plate, but specifically, a pair of de Gournay framed panels for my bedroom.

Your favourite interior designer(s)?

I really love following Collin’s Interiors and Lila Malone Interiors because while I may not design a room like them, I draw so much inspiration from their use of colour, layering and pattern.

Frills, florals and fringe, Jessica has designed this room to perfect, cocktail anyone?

Thank you so much Jessica for inspiring and delighting us with your life and style.  For more inspiration be sure to follow Jessica on Instagram.
