As we approach Valentine’s Day there is much excitement in my home. This year my husband really has no excuse for forgetting! My daughters and I have been very busy putting pink bows on everything we can and baking galore – cupcakes and traybakes – all for our little family tea party this weekend. It really is important to add magic to our days, to focus on joy and delight.

We know that timing in life is everything and this week my At Home Style Series feature with Kristina Miller could not be more fitting for Valentine’s weekend. Newly married and setting up a new home, Kristina is a beautiful lady who radiates warmth and positivity. Her instagram account has captured my heart; her style is so tasteful and chic. I am forever drawn to pretty details and Kristina’s style is a dream!

Could there by a more romantic picture? Kristina with her husband in Paris

Today it is my great pleasure to introduce you to this At Home Style Series feature with Kristina – I know you are going to j’dore it!

Describe your personal design style in 3 words?

I only need one word: Grandmillenial!

Kristina combines new and antique finds with grace and flair

 Favourite room in your home?

We just moved into our first home and I can’t wait to decorate and finally bring all of my Pinterest boards to life!

In the meantime, my favorite room is our library. I live for merchandising bookshelves and this cozy room has an entire wall of built-ins! I’m most excited for my design plan for this room: think Polo Bar NYC with a cognac leather sofa, British racing green lacquered bookshelves, grasscloth wallpaper and tartan accents.

It will be the perfect backdrop for our annual “Races on the Rocks” event we host in October prior to the Far Hills Race Meeting in New Jersey. Fingers crossed it won’t be cancelled this year!

What a table! This “Races on the Rocks” table truly showcases Kristina’s style and flair

What inspires you?

1980’s and 1990’s Laura Ashley, English Country Cottages, vintage chintz fabrics, Jackie and Grace, Love Shack Fancy, films about Regency-era England (see Bridgerton, Emma, Pride & Prejudice) and last but not least traveling anywhere and everywhere. I sure miss that the most!

Your greatest home extravagance?

Definitely my dinnerware collection. Ever growing and expanding to my husband’s dismay. I have an addiction!

Last time you treated yourself?

My first big purchase for our home was a botanical folding screen from Amy Berry Home. I probably should have purchased something more practical but I just couldn’t resist!

What is on your wish list?

A gold engraved signet ring, Casa Gusto Lemon and Pear Papier-maché Botanicals for my dining room and the porcelain blue bow vanity set from Bows & Blue.

Your favourite interior designers and interior influencers?

I love the work of Cathy Kincaid, Amy Berry, architect Patrick Ahearn and of course Mario Buatta.
